Turn towards the sun - Ongoing

Becoming a father has profoundly influenced my perspective on the world around me. Witnessing the landscape through the eyes of my child has imbued everyday objects with new significance and beauty. The metaphors between nature and children have become vividly apparent, as I observe the growth, resilience, and innate curiosity mirrored in both.

Nature's ever-changing landscape serves as a metaphor for the journey of parenthood. Just as the seasons transition, so too do the phases of childhood, each bringing its own joys, challenges, and discoveries. The resilience of nature reflects the resilience of children, who adapt and flourish in the face of adversity, much like a seedling pushing through the earth to reach the sunlight.

Moreover, the inherent connection between nature and children extends beyond mere metaphor. Nature provides a rich canvas for exploration and imagination, offering endless opportunities for play, discovery, and learning. Whether it's splashing in puddles, climbing trees, or marveling at the stars, the natural world becomes a source of wonder and inspiration for both parent and child alike.

The experience of becoming a father later in life has brought forth a cascade of emotions, inspiring me to explore the tender nuances of early childhood through the lens of the paternal gaze. I see the landscape and objects in a new light, infused with a sense of wonder, joy, and endless possibility. Photography can serve as a tribute to the transformative power of parenthood and the profound connection between nature and children.
